Get hydrated

The intense hot outdoor caused by the heat of the sun is almost over. Cold breeze could already be felt. Whether I like it or not, summer time will soon end.

To enjoy the remaining days is the least thing to do. And be ready for the coming of autumn.

But before we finally let got of the summer, catch some of the fluid lose during those sweaty-good times under the sun. A hydration sip tips from The Beverage Institute for Wellness and Health. A tip I think good for all types of season.
--
One of the easiest ways to improve your overall health is simple: drink more fluid. Why? Because staying hydrated helps keep your brain sharper, your skin clearer, and your energy up.

And you can feel good about thinking beyond the tap. Research shows that all beverages, even those containing caffeine, help keep you hydrated. In fact, adults tend to drink more liquid when it’s a flavoured drink versus plain water.

So go ahead and grab your favourite beverage. Your body will thank you for it.
--
Look out, at the latter part of the day you maybe go back and forth to the washroom due to nature’s call.

Still

“Being happy doesn't mean every thing's perfect.
It
means you've decided to
see beyond the imperfections.”
**
The sun still shines
The stars still look bright
The birds still merrily sings
The wind still whisper with cheers
The colors yet never fade
Still looking ahead
**
You came along most unexpected
And gone simply unnoticed
Time passes by, things may change
Grass withers and leaves may fall
But the memories of you stay cherished and remain special after all.
Still thanks to you..

Savored coffee

I was agog at the arrival of summer and expectantly enjoy the heat while at outdoor happenings. To my dismay, the supposedly dry and sunny summer turns strange. In most days a heavy rain pours at any moment with the usual frightening thunder which gives me the feeling of being like home.

Remembering the rainy season, when heavy rain or typhoon hits our place and all works or school cancelled, all I have to do is pretty sleep all hours long. Neither makes a hot drink and sits with feet held high as I watched the endless raindrop.

In the village where my grandparents used to stay, wet or dry season, humid or chilly, you are mostly ended up taking (brewed, no instant) coffee. No ice cold drinks or beverages. My stayed there during visits long years ago give me a thought which now I know it’s merely wrong. I was miss lead by the conclusion; maybe they drink coffee every now and then because it is the very least thing to do. That brings smile to the kiddy reasoning I was before without knowing how efficient and helpful to them coffee was.

While embracing the early chill of winter or may it be an after shock of that recently horrible winter and as we’re being amazed by the spectacular Beijing Olympics opening performance with lot sips of tea, I am being captivated with the message of this eye-opener short story of savory coffee.

*******
A group of alumni, highly established in their careers, were talking at a reunion and decided to go visit their old university professor, now retired. During their visit the conversation soon turned into complaints about stress in their work and lives.

Offering his guests coffee, the professor went to the kitchen and returned with a large pot of coffee and an assortment of cups- porcelain, plastic, glass, crystal, some plain looking, some expensive, some exquisite telling them to help themselves to the coffee.

When all the alumni had a coffee in hand, the professor said: “Notice that all of the nice looking, expensive cups were taken up, leaving behind the plain and cheap ones. While it is normal for you to want only the best for yourselves, which is the source of your problems that causes stress. Be assured that the cup itself adds no quality to the coffee. In most cases it is just more expensive and even hides what we drink.

What all of you really wanted was coffee, not the cup, but you consciously went for the best cups and then you began eyeing each other’s cups.

Now consider this: Life is the coffee, your job, money, and positions in society are the cups. They are just tools to hold and contain Life.

The type of cup one has does not define, nor change the quality of life a person lives. Sometimes by concentrating only on the cup, we fail to enjoy the coffee God has provided us.”

God makes the coffee, man chooses the cups. The happiest people don’t have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly.

Re: Importance of Sleep

I’m checking my email inbox after few days I haven’t logged to see if there’s something surprising.(hopeful!) There, numerous of junk mails from unknown persons that’s why I’d like considering setting spam on. There’s lot of mail from friends too. So I decided to read one because I’m half interested by the subject. And when I reached the bottom I was amused because suddenly the content turns different from above. Don’t have any idea if my friend is making fun again or either serious of it. As I was musing, I may never have enough experience but wasn’t born yesterday to come up with mixed ideas.(haha) Here’s how it goes.

A man can go two weeks without eating. But if he doesn't rest at all, he can only survive for one week. Sleeping provides us the time to rest our internal organs, eyes and the mind. Poor sleep quality can cause internal damage to our internal organs and brains. Therefore, sleeping is very important to us. If you wish to have a long life and stay healthy, please take note of the advice below.

5 DON'TS when you are sleeping

DON'T SLEEP WITH WATCH

Watches can emit a certain level of radioactivity. Though small, but if you wear your watch to bed for a long time, it might have adverse effects on your health.

DON'T SLEEP WITH BRA

Scientists in America have discovered those that wear bras for more
than 12 hours have a higher risk of getting breast cancer. So go to bed without it. (suggestion only)

DON'T SLEEP WITH PHONE

Putting the phone beside your bed or anywhere near you is not
encouraged. Though some of us will use phones as alarm clocks, but please put the phone as far as possible. Scientists have proved that electrical items including mobile phone and television sets emit magnetic waves when used. These waves can cause disruptions to our nervous system. Therefore if you need to put your mobile phone near you, switch it off first.

DON'T SLEEP WITH MAKE UP

People who sleep with make up might have skin problems in the long run. Sleeping with make up will cause the skin to have difficulty in
breathing and problem in perspiring. You will also need a much longer time to go into deep sleep.

DON'T SLEEP WITH OTHERS' WIFE

You may never wake up again.

Alongside Chico River

I grew up as a typical kid in a family where Chico River is approximately 150 meters away from the foundation of our house. We spent a lot of childhood memories in here. In the riverside we used to play kite flying, hide and seek, and running among others. We also did rafting with my brothers, crossing back and forth to the other side of the river, without minding that any moment the owner of the raft will arrive for we used it without permission. I could still remember how funny it was because we don’t know how but we learned hard so far. We are here most of the summer days to swim, dive, play and build sand castles. We have family picnics alongside too in a shady big tree. The river has a plenty of fish and we are fondly catching some barely handed.

I am even drowned accidentally in the place where mermaids used to stay as according to hearsay. That every time I came to remember it, I’m being frightened of the thought “hadn’t I survived I am no longer around in this world of fantasy”.

As our house is overlooking the river, most days of the year I am seeing the calmness of the water and its sound became a mellow music to the ears. The water mostly stays clean, clear and greenish and refreshing to the eyes. Our beloved town is really benefited by the gift of this nature. It is used as water and food resources. As well, a source of sand and stones for building houses, other structures, stone masonry and especially the on-going Suyo-Cervantes National Road.

I remember during our elementary years, our teachers used to inform us that the river we have is a winner being the Cleanest River in Region I in many consecutive years and runner-up entire the country.

Its head water is found in Mountain Province, it flows down passes through Cervantes and Suyo before it finally joins the Amburayan River then out to China Sea.

This river is no arguably breathtaking. Staring to its smooth and rough waves, bends and flows, I gathered some strength and enliven me unfathomable. I find it captivating especially I’m partly nature lover.

Through this simple blog I’ve created in its name, it is one in many ways a manifestation of appreciation and gratitude. Giving back some love and care to the river that inspire me in some ways and let me believed no matter how rough life is, “like the living water though first cut is the deepest it never runs dry.”

Tonight I celebrate my love…

Who wouldn’t love Beauty and Beast? They are the perfect figure of ”contentment is found in goodness”.

Journeying in a shortly cheerful, wondrous, and fortunate yet hanging, indifferent, vague, and blurry years my heart still wants to celebrate and sing tonight. Though mine may not like a fairy tale which always had a happy ending no matter I hardly wish upon the star.

So I sing..

Tonight I celebrate my love for you
It seems the natural thing to do

Tonight no one's gonna find us
We'll leave the world behind us
When I make love to you

Tonight I celebrate my love for you
And hope that deep inside you'll feel it too

Tonight our spirits will be climbing
To a sky filled up with diamonds
When I make love to you, tonight

Tonight I celebrate my love for you
And that midnight sun is gonna come shining through

Tonight there'll be no distance between us
What I want most to do, is to get close to you, tonight

Tonight I celebrate my love for you
And soon this old world will seem brand new

Tonight we will both discover how friends turn into lovers
When I make love to you

Tonight I celebrate my love for you
And the midnight sun is gonna come shining through

Tonight there'll be no distance between us
What I want most to do, is to get close to you

Tonight I celebrate my love for you

…as love is…

“Young love is about wanting to be happy. Old love is about wanting someone else to be happy.” - Dr. Mary Pipher, PhD

-Young as maybe but so purest, sweet, innocent and fragile

-It may show possessiveness but reflects truest amongst

-Seemingly selfish but never keep you stay whenever you’re no longer happy

-It can let you go even if it cause lifetime grieving

-Always loves to see you safe and happy in a distance

Walk away. Don’t turn around now for you may see me crying….
